In the professional catering landscape, the ability to reach exclusive locations while guaranteeing high production standards is a crucial competitive advantage. Our latest project, entirely built in our workshop, is a truck outfitted with a professional kitchen: a stand-alone solution designed to meet the needs of a catering company that manages events with hundreds of guests, maintaining the same quality as a fixed kitchen.

Logistical agility and performance.

Unlike traditional semi-trailers, which often encounter maneuverability limitations in historic urban contexts or mountain areas, this vehicle combines industrial production capacity with streamlined logistics. With a length of 9.30 meters, the vehicle can be driven with a Class C license and offers superior agility, allowing it to reach locations where an articulated truck simply could not go.

Technical specifications of the outfitting.

he heart of the vehicle is an 18 sqm kitchen laboratory, designed to maximize workflows and ergonomics. The layout includes a complete set of equipment to cover all preparation, cooking, and storage lines:

  • 6-burner professional range
  • 2-tank pasta cooker
  • Tilting braising pan (skillet)
  • Fry top (griddle) for plate cooking
  • Professional oven
  • Vertical refrigerator cabinet
  • Refrigerated counter (positive/negative temperature)
  • Blast chiller (essential for food safety and workflow management)

Autonomy and onboard systems.

The vehicle has been engineered to operate in total autonomy (stand-alone mode), freeing the operator from the need for immediate external connections:

  • Energy: Integrated diesel generator, powered by a dedicated tank to ensure long working sessions.
  • Water: 300-liter fresh water tank with a corresponding wastewater management system.
  • Climate Control: HVAC system for winter heating and summer cooling, ensuring operator comfort in any season.

Accessibility and functional design.

Every structural detail is designed for service efficiency during the event:

  • Rear hydraulic tail lift: Equipped with an extractable canopy, it serves as a loading/unloading area for goods and, during service, becomes an entrance passage to the kitchen.
  • Side access: A second covered passage on the side of the vehicle allows dedicated access for onboard staff, separating workflows when necessary.

Intended use: large events and mobile catering.

This truck represents the evolution of catering services. It was commissioned to manage events with hundreds of covers, where meal regeneration is not sufficient and high-productivity express cooking is required. The real revolution is the ability to park an 18 sqm kitchen exactly at the event location, drastically reducing setup times and guaranteeing the maximum freshness of the served product.
